Ashland Inc. announced that it signed a definitive agreement Oct. 27 to purchase the assets of Northwest Coatings of Oak Creek, WI, a formulator and manufacturer of adhesives and coatings employing ultraviolet and electron beam (UV/EB) polymerization technologies.
